Dr. Andy Sokol

Note of Interest: Dr. Sokol served as Auburn University’s mascot, Aubie from 1987-1988.

Dr. Nicole Martin

Dr. Nicole Martin graduated from Auburn University vet school in 2013. Shortly after, she married her high school sweetheart, Rhett. They have a beautiful three-year-old daughter, Wren, a one-year-old baby boy, Miles, two dogs, and a cat. Her special interests include parasitology, endocrine diseases, boxers and working closely with Cavalier Rescue of Alabama.

Dr. Jennifer Ham

Dr. Jennifer Ham knew at the ripe old age of nine that her dream was to become a veterinarian.

To that end, Dr. Ham attended Auburn University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology in 1999, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2003. She has spent the last twelve years loving being a small animal veterinarian in Birmingham. Dr. Ham is devoted to caring for dogs and cats, and their owners. She is passionate about developing a personal and trusting relationship with clients and is committed to taking the time to establish those relationships.

Although her roots are in Tuscaloosa, she makes it known that she is a huge Auburn fan and supporter! Outside of work, Dr. Ham loves Zumba, tennis, cooking and spending time with her family. She is an active member of Alabaster First United Methodist Church, where she enjoys volunteering her time with the children’s ministry, teaching Sunday school and the children’s message. Dr. Ham is married to husband, Rusty, has two children, Lily and Zach, and two Italian greyhounds, Bailey and Guido.

Dr. Brandt Tolbert

Dr. Brandt Tolbert

Dr. Brandt Tolbert grew up in Birmingham and began working at CMAC in 1990 in the kennel while in high school. He did his undergraduate work at Auburn and then on to their vet school. After graduation, he returned to practice with us from 2000-2004. Between the time between 2004 and 2017 Dr.Brandt Tolbert practiced in South Carolina and then moved back to Birmingham where he worked overnights at the emergency clinic.

While he has moved from his emergency work, he still enjoys it especially toxicology cases.

Dr. Brandt Tolbert is married to Rachael and has three children, Ashleigh, Michael Jr, and Lauren.

Dr. Sarah Wentworth

College: Auburn University
Special Interest: Soft Tissue Surgery, Internal Medicine, Abdominal Ultrasound
Church: Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church
Dr. Wentworth worked as a veterinarian at Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic for 7 years
prior to serving in Uganda for 3 years. She is thankful to rejoin the team following
her return to the states.
Goal: To serve and love the people and pets of CMAC for the glory of God.

Dr. Caitlin Cleary

Dr. Cleary graduated from vet school at Auburn in 2009. She attended the University of Kentucky prior to that and practiced in Kentucky for several years and also practiced in Florida before moving to Birmingham in 2014.
She lives with her husband, Chris, and their two children. They have two dogs, Boogie and Midas, and a cat named Kitten.
Dr. Cleary has special interest in ultrasonography and soft tissue surgery. While not working, she loves running, hiking, yoga, and hanging out with her family.
