Dr. Pete Velotas - Veterinarian
Dr. Pete Velotas is a Birmingham native and began working at Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic in 2006 as a kennel technician and later veterinary technician for several years.
He attended Auburn University for undergraduate studies, where he proudly served as an AU Cheerleader from 2009-2011. He continued his stay at the Loveliest Village for veterinary school, graduating in 2016.
Following a stint working as an emergency veterinarian in Cincinnati after graduating, he moved to the Florida Panhandle to practice for a few years before returning to his beloved “home clinic”, Caldwell Mill. Dr. Velotas has special interests in dermatology, ophthalmology, surgery, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Velotas and his wife Stephanie are members of Holy Trinity – Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral and have a one-year-old son named James, and pets Maggie (GSP), Sutton (Greyhound), Jase (Chihuahua), and Sadie (Labrador Retriever). In his spare time, he likes to golf (poorly), cook, garden, and paddleboard.
